Shopping in Stuttgart

The main shopping street in Stuttgart is Königstrasse, there are many department stores that extend for over 1km; there are also brand names like Valentino, Cartier and Boss. You will find many other shops in the Bohnenviertel, the underground Klett-Passage and the new Königsbaupassagen.

Other popular place for shopping is Markthalle, a beautiful gem made in the Jugendstil style. There are sold many delicious fruit and fresh vegetables from the entire world, the aroma of the different spices is really pleasant. If you want to find leather goods and fine jewelry, the correct place is Calwer Strasse. Menawhile the Karlsplatz flea market is famous for its antiques, books and other collectables.

Smaller shops close at 6:30 p.m.

Saturday: 9:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., at times until 8:00 p.m.
Smaller shops and travel agencies close at 1:00 p.m.
