Learning a language is also a social activity, you can know many people from different countries with the same pursuit of learning this great language. This helps you develop your communication skills and improve your knowledge.

Do you speak English? Learn German too!
If you don’t speak German at all, you must at least have heard that English and German are very similar, since they have the same roots. English is a West Germanic language that emerged from the Anglo-Frisian dialects brought to Britain by Germanic invaders. You may enjoy history or not, but this historical fact makes an advantage for English speakers. The truth is that if we know English, German might not seem too difficult (at least its vocabulary) since there are many words that resemble their English version. Some of these words are: wasser (water), Eis (ice), mutter (mother), Kamera (camera), Sonne (sun). A Deutschkurs in Hamburg (guess what that means!) is highly recommended in order to find more words like these.

Today, being multilingual can be a great benefit for business, studies, travelling, socializing, and many more things.
