The city of Munich

Munich is one of Germany’s favorite tourist destinations for its mix of the modern style and the traditional charm. The city is also famous for its many breweries and beer houses where people have a good time. As the gateway to the Barbarian Alps, Munich is wide visited. Lots of tourists arrive to the city to practice winter sports. Other people prefer to arrive to the city in summer months of June and July, and enjoy the splendid weather as well as visit its famous museums, theatres and beautiful parks.
The citizens are friendly people with a unique passion for its traditions and festivals. Many visitors have the image of Bavarians drinking beer and enjoy a never ending party, but Munich has more to offer: a strong cultural scene, many art collections, great restaurants and excellent shopping venues.
