Herrenhäuser Gärten
This is an amazing baroque garden and park formed by four gardens; there you can enjoy a diversity of garden arts, French style horticulture, the English landscaped garden and an open air theatre. You should also see the gorgeous orchids, the cacti displays, and the mace garden.

Old Town Hall
The first part of this historical landscape was built in 1410 on Schmiedestrasse, the next wing was raised on the foundations of the 13th century trade hall. The other contiguous wing in the Koebelinger Street was rebuilt with an Italian Romanesque style. Inside the building you can see many portraits of princes and the popular game of “Luderziehen”

Sprengel Museum
A leading gallery of modern art opened in 1979. There are paintings, sculptures, photography and other works by Picasso, Klee, Beckmann and Schwitters, many of them were donated by Dr. Bernhard Sprengel, and others are art collections of the State of Lower Saxony.
