In Frankfurt during the whole year are celebrated many festivals and events. There are events for all styles and ages like classical music festivals, pop concerts, sporting events and wine festivals.
Spring is the season for the Frühlings Dippemess, a colorful festival with many rides, arts, wine and food. Other important event in spring is the Fine Art Fair, organized on the most modern exhibition hall of Europe; there are shown beautiful works made by more than 2000 artists. The big events in May are the Skyscraper Festival and the International Music Trade Fair.

In summer almost all the festivals are related to Frankfurt’s traditional drink: apple wine. One of the most famous streets festivals take place in June, the Wilhelmstrassenfest Theatrium where are served many gourmet snacks. In August, the Main Fest is celebrated with apple wine through the entire city. One of the biggest events of the city takes place in September and October, the Frankfurt Book Fair. This event is the largest international book fair in the world, and is focused in trade, distribution and selling.
