Eating in Germany: Breakfast


In Germany there are many hotels and guesthouses which offer Bed & Breakfast with a low-cost. The typical German breakfast (Fr�hst�ck) consists of bread rolls, butter, jam, ham, a soft-boiled egg and coffee. But, breakfast varies depending of the regional location, in many cities cereals have become popular, also cheeses, cold nuts, meat spreads, yogurt, granola and eggs. The most traditional sausage for breakfast is the weisswurst made from finely minced veal and fresh pork bacon. Usually, many Germans have a second breakfast around 10:30 in the morning, especially in Bavaria.
