The Philharmonic Concert Hall (Kölner Philharmonie)

The Philharmonic Concert Hall was built in 1986, next to the Cologne Cathedral. This is an important concert hall where more than 400 events, such as festivals, jazz sessions, symphonic music repertoire and other variety of international productions, take place. The design of the Philharmonic Concert Hall is like and amphitheatre, so there you can enjoy a great acoustic experience. The most important orchestras which play in the concert hall are the Gürzenich Kölner Philharmoniker and the Westdeutscher Rundfunk Orchestra
