Eastern Suburbs of Berlin Currently, the suburbs of Berlin are a main attraction for its own character; there you will see the true personality of Berlin. The suburbs are home for the best hotels, cafés, restaurants and pubs. One of the most important districts in the eastern suburbs is Prenzlauer Berg, a popular place to live and go out. Many young people spend their free time in this district for its many beer gardens, bars and clubs.  Other central district in the suburbs is Friedrichshain, it is also an attractive place to live for its low rents and beautiful apartments, many students and artists live there.
