Stuttgart, the capital of Baden-Württemberg, Germany, is located in a valley near from the Black Forest and from the Swabian Jura. The city centre lies in a fertile valley between vineyards and thick woodland along to the River Neckar.
Stuttgart covers an area of 207 km2 (80 sq mi) with highest point of 549 m (1,801 ft) on Bernhartshöhe hill and the lowest at 207 m (679 ft) above sea.
The city of Stuttgart is divided into 23 city districts, 5 inner districts and 18 outer districts.
The inner districts are: Central Stuttgart, Stuttgart North, Stuttgart East, Stuttgart South, and Stuttgart West.
The outer districts are: Bad Cannstatt, Degerloch, Möhringen, Plieningen, Stammheim, Untertürkheim,Vaihingen, Zuffenhausen, Feuerbach, Birkach, Botnang, Hedelfingen, Mühlhausen, Münster, Obertürkheim, Sillenbuch, Wangen, and Weilimdorf.
